VG&P’s Wine Cooler is made from sustainably sourced waste cork and takes advantage of the material’s natural insulating properties – keeping wine at its optimum serving temperature. During the production of wine corks, around 25% of the raw material is wasted. The design of the Wine Cooler repurposes the cork waste by shaping and sealing cork particles with natural oils without affecting the natural insulating properties of the cork and protecting the cork from any residue moisture from the wine bottle. A deceptively simple design, the Wine Cooler soft materiality creates a warm and natural design.
